Festival Detail

San Benito Olive FestivalFood
The San Benito Olive Festival is a welcoming affair for guests to enjoy the rich variety of olive oils, foods, wines, and artisanal goods produced in San Benito County and surrounding areas. The event highlights not only their quality and taste but also the considerable health benefits that these local specialty crops naturally offer. A roster of highly respected regional chefs is assembled to conduct cooking demonstrations that pair olive oil with a wide array of tasty foods, wines, and other delectable bites. The San Benito Olive Festival offers a series of Artisan Stories/Artisan presentations - both live and on video - in which growers/artisans tell and demonstrate their stories, explain their processes, and connect directly with visitors/consumers. The festival also complements the culinary celebration with live music, local arts, crafts, and more. All the net proceeds from the San Benito Olive Festival are donated to local community organizations that support well-being in the area, including social service agencies, health organizations, educational initiatives, and the arts.
