|Berkeley Juneteenth Festival||Ethnic|
With almost 25 successful festivals, Juneteenth in Berkeley has become a Bay Area tradition. The Berkeley Juneteenth Festival is held annually in June, in the south Berkeley merchant's district, known as the Adeline-Alcatraz corridor. This major African-American cultural festival is free and open to the public. Family entertainment is the focus of the Festival with entertainment incorporating the Bay Area's best African-American music; art and historical exhibits; ethnic arts and crafts; a community health faire; food booths reflecting the diversity of our community; and youth and children's programs.
Festival has a children/youth component.
