Graphic Designer
Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco

The Chinese Culture Center (CCC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to elevate underserved communities and give voice to equality through education and contemporary art. 

CCC seeks a talented graphic designer who is passionate about solving problems and creating simple, smart, and beautiful designs. The successful candidate will be a key team member who is responsible for communicating the brand and program vision of the CCC.   


  • Contributes to telling the story of our mission through creating institutional marketing and programming materials under objectives and target audience

  • Translate marketing needs into visual pieces and execute on day-to-day tasks

  • Implement consistent branding across all communications in various platforms - print, web, video


  • 2 years graphic design work experience or equivalent experience   

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - primarily InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

  • Excellent knowledge of print and web design

  • Strong attention to visual details

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure

  • Knowledge of production timelines and processes for web and print

  • Strong interest in visual arts, nonprofit and community

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese a plus

Chinese Culture Center, under the aegis of the Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco, elevates underserved communities, and gives voice to equality through education and contemporary art. 

Founded in 1965, Chinese Culture Center is widely recognized as a pillar organization in the community led by a team of experienced artists, curators, policy experts and art professionals.

CCC was selected as a finalist for the 2017 Robert E. Gard national award, which honors exceptional integration of arts in the community for “Chinatown Art in the Alleyways.” CCC’s “Building Our Town” is a winner of National Endowment for the Arts Award in partnership with the City’s Arts Commission.
